After a rigorous study at the University of Exeter, in the United Kingdom, it was published in the journal LiveScience, that after the systematic review of more than 48 million medical records, a claim that patients who live less than a kilometer from the sea, have a better perception of their health and their physical situation – that is psychologically relating to their health. It claimed the following benefits;
- IMPROVEMENT OF THE JOINTS. The beach is the ideal place to practice physical exercise. Taking long walks along the seashore has more than proven therapeutic properties. Who does not like to take long walks on the sand under the magnificent sun that we have almost every day of the year on the Costa Blanca !!
- HELPS RELAXATION. In the study, the University of Exeter commented that it is possible to demonstrate a cause-effect relationship between the mortality associated with stress and the reduction of mortality in patients living in coastal areas.
- IMPROVED ACUTE AND CHRONIC RESPIRATORY TABLES. It is clear that the sea has a direct influence on acute respiratory symptoms, since most of the nasal decongestants are mainly composed of seawater rich in salts and iodine.
