Description
This is the capital of the "Vega Baja" (known as the fertile lowlands) region of Alicante Located 20 km inland from the Orihuela Costa beaches and framed by breathtaking, stunning views from the monastery perched high on the mountain.

Bigastro, is a charming Spanish village on the outskirts of Orihuela town, it is a true treasure in the Vega Baja del Segura region and only 25 km away from the crystal clear, sandy beaches of the Orihuela Costa. It has excellent connections via the AP-7, Alicante airport is within 30 minutes and it offers all the necessary amenities making it a popular place to live for Spaniards and foreigners.
