Los Alcazares is a coastal spa town and former fishing village in the province of Murcia with 19,000 permanent residents, on the western side of the Mar Menor (little sea) and borders with Torre-Pacheco, Cartagena and San Javier.
It has a wonderful promenade along the town centre and a coastline with over 7 kilometres of sandy beaches which give direct access to the warm and safe waters of the Mar Menor, which is Europe's largest saltwater lagoon.
