The Orihuela Costa lies on the most Southern point of the Costa Blanca and comprises of roughly 16 km of fine sandy beaches, rocky coves and sparkling blue waters of the Mediterranean, stretching from Punta Prima (just south of Torrevieja) and taking in Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig, Villamartin, Campoamor and Mil Palmeras, including their many urbanisations (housing and shopping developments) along the way.
Orihuela Costa has recently been recognised as having the highest number of Blue Flag Award beaches in Alicante . The beaches provide the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing sunbathe, swim and a wide range of water sports in the crystal clear cooling waters of the Mediterranean sea.
